SCLogic had an excellent time attending the FM Expo, hosted by the Dallas Fort Worth Chapter of IFMA, again this year. The Dallas Fort Worth chapter is thriving, with increased attendance by both attendees and vendors.

A few takeaways from this year’s conference:

• Facility Managers are seeing the bigger picture and see the value in an In-Building Logistics platform
• The number of software providers at the show was minimal, but those in attendance offered a CAFM/IWMS type solution
• A frequently questioned topic were Facilities Requests, specifically maintenance tracking, with many inquiring how to do it and what the benefits are
• SCLogic’s Catherine Welpton was thrilled to participate in such an event, and the reception of the Dallas Fort Worth members cemented that we are where we belong
