Happy World FM Day!
We are excited to celebrate and partake in our first World FM Day! Started by Global FM, a worldwide federation committed to providing leadership in the facility management profession, World FM Day “is a day to recognize the vital work that facilities management professionals and the facilities management industry contributes to business worldwide. It aims to raise the profile of the FM profession, not just in member regions, but anywhere FMs influence the health, safety, productivity and well-being of people who utilize the built environment. World FM Day provides an opportunity for global knowledge sharing, to discuss and share experiences both good and challenging, to promote our profession and celebrate our successes. It is a day where facilities management professionals use to reflect on their achievements over the past year.”
For our part, we will be hosting a lunch and learn at The Wharf in downtown Washington, D.C. for facility professionals to have fun and share thoughts on how to streamline workflows (e.g. incoming packages, print/copy services, workspace reservations, file requests, concierge services) within the facility to support company-wide initiatives such as increasing business service transparency, improving SLA standards, integrating with new technologies, and addressing demands for environmental sustainability.
We hope you enjoy your day and recognize all you’ve accomplished in the past 12 months. Go on and have a cocktail or two at happy hour…you deserve it!
